Inclusion Criteria
patients (20 – 80 years of age, ASA physical status 1 - 3) scheduled for arthroscopic shoulder suregry
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with severe respiratory disease, any contraindication to regional anaesthesia, BMI > 35 kg.m-1, pre-existing neuropathy in the operated extremity, allergy to study medications, pregnancy, or refusal to participate
