Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Children aged 6 â?? 7 years of both sexes attending government primary schools in Bengaluru city.
- •2\.Children whose parents are permanent residents of Bengaluru.
- •3\.Children belonging to low socio\-economic status as classified by modified Kuppuswamy scale .
- •4\.Children belonging to high risk group for dental caries defined as children having \>\= 1 interproximal carious lesions in their primary dentition as per AAPD guidelines, 2014\.
- •5\.Children who have caries\-free permanent dentition with at least one fully erupted first permanent molar.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Children having a serious medical condition that precludes inclusion and obvious signs of systemic illness (colds, flu, chicken pox etc.)
- •2\.Children with ulcerative gingivitis, oral infections, abnormalities of face, lips, soft tissues of mouth (cause discomfort during provision of intervention) determined during baseline examination.
- •3\.Children having dental fluorosis.
