1.Children aged 6 â?? 7 years of both sexes attending government primary schools in Bengaluru city.
2.Children whose parents are permanent residents of Bengaluru.
3.Children belonging to low socio-economic status as classified by modified Kuppuswamy scale .
4.Children belonging to high risk group for dental caries defined as children having >= 1 interproximal carious lesions in their primary dentition as per AAPD guidelines, 2014.
5.Children who have caries-free permanent dentition with at least one fully erupted first permanent molar.
1.Children having a serious medical condition that precludes inclusion and obvious signs of systemic illness (colds, flu, chicken pox etc.)
2.Children with ulcerative gingivitis, oral infections, abnormalities of face, lips, soft tissues of mouth (cause discomfort during provision of intervention) determined during baseline examination.
3.Children having dental fluorosis.
