1.Age group between 18-65 years of either sex.
2. ASA grade II
3.Elective surgeries requiring laryngoscopy and intubation
4.Posted for general surgery operation.
1.chance of hemodynamic instability intraoperativel
2. Ischaemic heart disease
3.myocardial infarction
4.any abnormality seen in ECG during preanaesthetic checkup
3. Anticipated difficult intubation.
4. Pregnant patients.
5. Any history of allergy with lignocaine.
6. Any patients below 18 years old and above 65 years old of either sex.
7. intubation time >15 sec/attempt
8.more than 2 attempts at intubation
9.very anxious patients
10.patient unable to communicate.
11.history of substance abuse or concurrent use of nonallopathic medication for any reason
12.chronic opoid use
13.obese patient
13.Basal systolic BP <100mm of Hg and basal pulse rate <60 /min
14.Diabetes
15.severe systemic disorder involving any particular system of respiratory or hepatobiliary or renal etc or in combination.
16.history of CVA
17.past history of heart failure
