(1) chronic stroke patients
(2) age between 18 and 80 years
(3) able to walk independently on level surface under supervision or sometimes using an assistive device for safety (Functional Ambulation Category (FAC) score>3)
(4) no abnormal tone or slightly increased in ankle joint muscle group only at the end of passive ankle range of motion (Modified Ashworth Scale (MAS)<3)
(1) complications of orthopadic disorders
(2) cognitive dysfunctions (Korean version of Mini Mental State Examination(K-MMSE) score<24)
(3) mental illnesses
