Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • (1\) chronic stroke patients
  • (2\) age between 18 and 80 years
  • (3\) able to walk independently on level surface under supervision or sometimes using an assistive device for safety (Functional Ambulation Category (FAC) score\>3\)
  • (4\) no abnormal tone or slightly increased in ankle joint muscle group only at the end of passive ankle range of motion (Modified Ashworth Scale (MAS)\<3\)

Exclusion Criteria

  • (1\) complications of orthopadic disorders
  • (2\) cognitive dysfunctions (Korean version of Mini Mental State Examination(K\-MMSE) score\<24\)
  • (3\) mental illnesses
