Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients who were extubated after 48 hours of endotracheal intubation.
  • Patients who were started on enteric nutrition.
  • Patients who can understand and speak English/Tamil fluently.

Exclusion Criteria

  • History of neuromuscular disease.
  • Swallowing difficulty prior to intubation.
  • Patients who have undergone tracheostomy.
  • Patients who are unable to follow instructions.
