Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •birth weight between 1000\-1250 grams all inborn neonates started on feeds within 48 hours of life

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.major congenital malformations like duodenal atresia,
  • •2\. chromosomal abnormalities,
  • •perinatal asphyxia APGAR \< 5 min or 3\. encephalopathy
  • •4\. invasive ventilation with shock on inotropes
  • •5\. absent or reversal of end diastolic flow
