Inclusion Criteria
Patients aged between 1 month through 15 years with diagnosis of severe sepsis or septic shock who admitted to Pediatric ward prior to PICU admission or directly to PICU at enrolled centers were recruited to our study
Exclusion Criteria
1 End stage disease eg cancer
2 Irreversible septic shock
3 Multi-organ failure (>2 organs)
4 severe congenital anomaly
