入选标准
- •Subjects who were being fed intermittently enterally via a nasogastric tube; Over age 18 years up to 70 years; Recently started on intermittent enteral feeding, maximum after giving 3 feed; Have not received metoclopramide, erythromycin, cisapride, and anticholinergic agents; Have not received radiotherapy treatment and surgery on the abdominal region in the previous 6 weeks; Have no contraindication to abdominal massage for examples: cellulitis, abdominal mass, peritonitis, abdominal aneurysm, ascites, diverticulitis, probability of thromboembolic events in recent one year, positive history and probability of DVT in one recent year.
- •Exclusion criteria: Have two times consecutively vomiting( less than 12 hours); Develop diarrhea more than 3 times a day; Receive metoclopramide for vomiting; Discharge patients from ICU or death less than 3 days; Make patients NPO more than 12 hours for procedures or laboratory tests.
