Inclusion Criteria
1. Patients presenting with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment.
2. Planned for scleral buckle surgery under local/general anaesthesia.
3. Patients ready for a 3 month follow up
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patients with proliferative vitreoretinopathy > grade C.
2. Patients with giant retinal tears.
3. Patients with significant media opacity excluding good fundus visualization.
4. Patients with posterior retinal breaks.
5. Post glaucoma surgery/ patient with glaucoma drainage implant.
