- •Patients undergoing total thyroidectomy
排除标准
- •Patients with proven or suspicious of malignancy
- •Elevated renal parameters(Serum creatinine- >1.2 mg/dl)
- •Patients with conditions that could potentially affect serum calcium level:
- •Musculoskeletal diseases
- •Hyperparathyroidism
- •Patients already on supplemental calcium and vitaminD
- •Medications known to effect calcium levels
