Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patient’s approval.
- •Age: 40 – 75 years.
- •Sex: Both males and females.
- •Physical Status: American Society of Anesthesiologists
- •(ASA) II \& III
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patient refusal
- •Age: \>75 and \<40 years.
- •Allergy to local anesthetics, systemic opioids and any of the drugs included in the multimodal perioperative pain protocol.
- •Revision surgery.
- •Patients with impaired kidney functions and coagulopathy.
- •Chronic pain syndromes and patients with chronic opioid use defined as use of regular daily doses of systemic narcotics for the past 6 months prior to the surgery.
- •BMI of 40 or more.
- •Physical Status: American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) IV.
