Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Idiopathic carpal tunnel syndrome confirmed by USG and Nerve conduction studies that did not improve with 3 weeks of conservative management(splinting and medications)
  • \- Patients with moderate disease as per Nerve conduction studies

Exclusion Criteria

  • \- Patients with other concomitant neuropathies such as cervical radiculopathies, ulnar\- radial neuropathies
  • \- Patients with other associated diseases like trigger finger, raynaudâ??s disease
  • \-Patients with anatomical variations such as a bifid median nerve or vascular anomalies.
