Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Participants between age group18 years\- 55 years
- •2\. Patient treated with curative intent with surgery and/or radiation and/or chemotherapy for cancer of buccal mucosa.
- •3\. Mouth opening between 25mm\-10mm
- •4\. Willing to follow up with Occupational Therapy Department for 3 days for training and every 15 days for 3 months (total visits 9\).
- •5\. Intact upper and lower incisors.
- •6\. Resident of Mumbai
- •7\. Able to comprehend, read and write the English language.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Severe trismus less than 10mm.
- •2\. Trismus more than one\-year post\-surgery and or radiotherapy.
- •3\. Patients having trismus due to derangement of the temporomandibular joint or other intracapsular reasons.
- •4\. Patient having crooked upper and lower front incisors cause difficulty in measuring mouth opening.
- •5\. Jaw alignment issues causing difficulty in measuring mouth opening.
- •6\. Patient with Naso\-gastric tube
- •7\. Cognitive impairments.
