- •d.Planned for awake fibreoptic intubation

- •1) Nonco-operative patients
- •2) ASA class 3 and 4
- •3) Local pathology of the neck precluding injections
- •4) Bleeding diathesis
- •5) Allergy to local anesthetic agents
- •6) Intellectual impairment or psychiatric
