Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Breast reconstructions in Hodgkin survivors diagnosed with BC after previous chest radiotherapy for Hodgkin and who had undergone BR after therapeutic or prophylactic mastectomy.
  • Control breast reconstructions after therapeutic or prophylactic mastectomy in patients without a history of HL or chest radiotherapy were matched to patients in group 1 on age at mastectomy (±five years), date of BR (±five years), and type of BR (direct\-to\-implant; tissue expander/implant; autologous with implant; autologous only) and timing of BR (immediate or delayed).

Exclusion Criteria

  • Breasts which had received radiotherapy for BC before BR were excluded. Patients were excluded if their electronic health records had missing data regarding supradiaphragmatic radiotherapy.
