1)Patient undergoing orthodontic treatment requiring maximum or absolute anchorage
2)Angles class I or class II division 1 malocclusion with crowding less than 3mm
3)Angles class I or class II division 1 malocclusion with proclined anteriors
1)Patients with history of trauma/injury to maxillary anteriors, endodontic/prosthodontic rehabilitation, pre-existing root resorption lesions 2)Crowding greater than 3mm in the anteriors 3)Patients with impacted/supernumerary teeth, tooth size/shape discrepancies
4)Patients with bimaxillary protrusion severe enough to warrant surgical correction
