Age equal or superior to 60 years; not part of a structured or systematic program of physical exercises; have a score equal to or higher than 20 points in the mini mental state examination (MMSE); walk independently; make available for the participation of a four-month exercise program
Physical and / or cognitive impairment to prevent physical exercise; history of heart disease (e.i. acute myocardial infarction), neurological (e.g. Alzheimer's disease), psychiatric (e.i. schizophrenia),cerebrovascular (e.i. cerebrovascular accident) or metabolic (e.i., diabetes mellitus I); not comply with a minimum of 90% of the total frequency of activities

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Measure physical function: Maximum speed, 5 Times Sit to Stand Test , time up and go, after 16 weeks of intervention program. The data will be presented in numbers, expressing the time required to perform the test. It is expected to find a decrease of the time expressing improvement in the function
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Measure the change of memory function, executive function, through neuropsychological tests, done in the first week of pre and post intervention<br>
