Age: 18-40y
BMI: 18.5-25.0 kg/m2
Healthy: as judged by the participant
• Smoking or drug abuse
• Pregnant or lactating women
• Gastro-intestinal diseases (e.g. irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease)
• Diabetes, thyroid diseases or any other endocrine disorders
• Using an energy restricted diet during the last 2 months
• Using an dietary fibre supplement
• Weight gain or loss of > 5kg body weight in the last 2 months
• Lack of appetite for any reason
• Restraint eating DEBQ score >= 2.89 for men, and >= 3.39 for women
• Hypersensitivity or food allergy for products used in this study
• Antibiotic use < 2 months before the study
• Using medication other than birth control, paracetamol, acetylsalicylic acid, hay feaver, asthma
• Thesis students or employees of the Division of Human Nutrition
• Having participated in the ProVe or FLiTS study
• Having a blood glucose concentration outside the normal range (4.0 - 8.0 mmol/l)
