Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • patients of both sexes, between 55 and 70 years old
  • age, with Alback grade IV or V primary knee osteoarthrosis and candidates for
  • primary total cemented knee arthroplasty.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patients with uncontrolled systemic arterial hypertension were excluded,
  • chronic heart disease, decompensated diabetes mellitus, evidence of infection
  • articular, patients with congenital or acquired coagulopathies, chronic use of
  • oral anticoagulants and corticosteroids, carriers of malignant neoplasms and
  • autoimmune diseases, smoking history and revision surgery cases.
