Inclusion Criteria

1.Age of 18 years and above

2.AO Spine classification types A1 and A3 with either neurological deficits or with loss of more than 30% anterior vertebral body height

3.AO Spine classification types B and C.

4.Injuries with both pedicles at the fracture level being intact

5.Injuries with atleast one of the endplates in-tact at the fractured vertebra

Exclusion Criteria

1.Presence of more than 1 contiguous vertebral fracture requiring fixation

2.Pathological fracture
