1.Patients aged 18-60 yrs.
2.American society of anaesthesiologistâ??s (ASA) grades I and II.
3.Scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia.
1.Mouth opening <2 cm
2.Body mass index(BMI) > 30 kg/m2
3.Upper respiratory tract infection
4.Increased risk of aspiration (Gastro oesophageal reflex disorder , hiatus hernia and pregnancy)
5.Need for high airway pressures ( COPD patients, Asthma)
6.Cervical spine fracture or instability.
7.History of allergy to one or more drugs and latex
