Inclusion Criteria
1.Criteria for the selection of the patients will be based on the criteria suggested by Joint National Committee (JNC)1 .
2.Stages of Pre hypertension & Stage I (Grade 1 & 2) Hypertension.
3.Patients between 20-70 years age of either sex
Exclusion Criteria
1. Ischemic heart disease (IHD),Coronary heart disease (CHD),Coronary artery disease(CAD) and coarctation of aorta
2.Renal failure
3.Endocrine diseases,
4.Hypertension with cerebral complications e.g. hypertensive encephalopathy, cerebral haemorrhage, convulsive seizure.
5.Malignant hypertension.
6.Pregnant and Lactating female patients.
7. Patient on treatment for hypertension since 1 month.
