Immediate effect of Suboccipital Inhibition Technique and Muscle Energy Technique on Pain and Flexibility among college students with Upper Trapezitis: A Comparative Study

简要总结

The purpose of this study is to check the effects of suboccipital inhibition technique and muscle energy technique immdiately in trapezitis. The popilation for this is college students having upper trapezitis. The participants will be divided into two groups by shuffling cards method. In this study, there will be two groups, Group A will be Suboccipital inhibition technique and Group B will be Muscle energy technique. The pain intensity and Range of motion of trapezius muscle will be assessed. Participants with pain intensity between 4 to 8 and range of motion <45 degrees will be included. In Group A,

入选标准

  • College students with upper trapezitis, unilateral or bilateral muscle spasm, trigger points, NPRS 4 to 8, acute, subacute or chronic duration and lateral neck flexion less than 45 degrees.

排除标准

  • Individuals with a history of neck or upper limb surgery, cervical radiculopathy, cervical spine deformity, cervical spine deformity, congenital neck or upper limb abnormality, those currently taking any analgesics.
