Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • â?? 1\) Level of fitness that facilitates walking without any orthopedic aids
  • (cane, crutches, walkers), ability to do exercise like treadmill and stair climbing.
  • 2\) Elderly patient.
  • 3\) H/O smoking , diabetic , lung disorders , pulmonary disorder.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\) Chronic conditions that might affect overall functional state during
  • study protocol (e.g. a case of cardiovascular disorders, orthostatic
  • hypotension might set in)
  • 2\) Sensory disorders (e.g. when visual disturbances prevented focusing the
  • eyes on fixation point 1 meter away, hearing impairments).
  • 3\) Mental illness making it unfeasible to stand during testing procedure.
  • 4\) treadmill contraindication, osteoarthritis knee grade 3 and 4\.
