â?? 1) Level of fitness that facilitates walking without any orthopedic aids
(cane, crutches, walkers), ability to do exercise like treadmill and stair climbing.
2) Elderly patient.
3) H/O smoking , diabetic , lung disorders , pulmonary disorder.
1) Chronic conditions that might affect overall functional state during
study protocol (e.g. a case of cardiovascular disorders, orthostatic
hypotension might set in)
2) Sensory disorders (e.g. when visual disturbances prevented focusing the
eyes on fixation point 1 meter away, hearing impairments).
3) Mental illness making it unfeasible to stand during testing procedure.
4) treadmill contraindication, osteoarthritis knee grade 3 and 4.
