入选标准
- •Pregnant female patients with singleton pregnancy, taken up for caesarean section under spinal anaesthesia for various indications (elective or semi-elective).
排除标准
- •1. Emergency indication of cesarean section (like antepartum
- •hemorrhage, placenta previa, abruptio placentae, more than two previous LSCS, preeclampsia, fetal
- •distress, obstructed labour, umbilical cord prolapse, hand prolapse, patient in labor pains).
- •2.Patients having associated systemic illness.
- •3.Contraindications for spinal anesthesia. 4.History of seizures, coma,
- •neurological signs or symptoms(Eclampsia). 5.Patient refusal to participate in study. 6.Any allergy to local anaesthetic.
- •7. Obese (weight >100 Kg), short stature(height <150cms), with spinal deformity.
- •8.Parturients who had a fall in BP >20% of basal mean arterial pressure (MAP) following spinal anaesthesia but before oxytocin infusion.
