Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Obese patients
  • •2\. Age 18 to 60 years
  • •3\. ASA Physical status I and II planned for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patient refusal
  • •2\. Anticipated difficult airway
  • •3\. History of gastroesophageal reflux diseases
  • •Patients with previous abdominal surgery and/or
  • •comorbidities that would affect surgical time
  • •time under anaesthesia
  • •4\. Expected duration of surgery is more than 3 hours
  • •5\. Any surgery with expected postoperative ICU admission
