•(1) It meets the diagnostic criteria of Vascular dementia and Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome, and the course of dementia is more than 3 months;
•(2) The mini mental state assessment scale scored =26 points;
•(3) Clear consciousness, able to cooperate with the inspection and participate in the training;
•(4) Diagnostic criteria of traditional Chinese medicine; Refer to the syndrome differentiation of dementia in the guiding principles for clinical research of new traditional Chinese medicine (Trial) [4];
•(5) Sign the informed consent form.

•(1) Have other brain organic diseases, depression and psychosis;
•(2) Patients with malignant tumor, history of drug allergy, hematopoietic coagulation dysfunction or severe cardiopulmonary dysfunction were excluded;
•(3) Cognitive impairment or dementia caused by other factors, such as brain injury, Parkinson's disease, etc;
•(4) Patients who cannot cooperate with the examination (such as four diagnostic instruments of traditional Chinese medicine, meridian detector, neurophysiological evaluation, etc.).
