Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients over 18 years of age, admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, victims of traumatic brain injury will be included. During the acquisition of cranial tomography exams, a quadriceps tomography will be performed to evaluate the thickness of the muscle group and compared with ultrasound. At each control cranial tomography, at the following times: 24\-48 hours and 72\-168 hours after admission, controls on the thickness of the quadriceps will be performed by means of tomography and ultrasonography, and these measurements will be compared for possible validation of the method.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients with extreme BMI (\= 18\.5 kg/m2 or \= 40 kg/m2\), with fractures, injuries or burns in the region to be studied and patients with neuromuscular diseases, pregnant women, metastatic cancer, in end\-of\-life care will be excluded. and in state custody.
