Brief Summary

Respiratory complaints are well defined condition in medical science and cough is the most common complain among them.*Kasa* roga seems to be very simple disease but if it is neglected or mismanaged it may result in disease with poor prognostic condition. The drug *Balachaturbhadra churna* has maximum ingredients having  kapha-pitta samaka  properties and also tetracyclic triterpenes,Tannic acid of *karkatashringi* & *ativisa* has antioxidant properties, rotundone of *Musta* have anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective, anti-pyretic properties, *Pippali* has many properties, including being acrid, stimulant, appetizer,anti-oxidant, and anti-tussive,that helps in easy expectoration. Thus, I expect *Balachaturbhadra churna* may be helpful in curing the disease and will be beneficial to society.

Inclusion Criteria

• Patients presenting with signs and symptoms of vataja, pittaj and kaphaja kasa roga.
• Those who have not received any medication for cough and cold in last 24 hours.

Exclusion Criteria

• 1-patient less than 4 year of age & above 12 year.
• 2-khsyataja and khsyaja kasa 3- kasa associated with fever, bronchial asthma, TB, severe lower RTI.
• 4- History of malignancy or any other congenital, anatomical abnormalities of chest & respiratory system.
• 5-kasa associated with severe malnutrition 6- kasa associated with neurological disorder.
