Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1] Both male and female chronic periodontitis patients in the age group of 30\-55 years with
  • •acceptable oral hygiene.
  • •2] Patients exhibiting probing pocket depth of \= 5mm.
  • •3] Presence of intrabony defects \=3 mm based on radiographic observations.
  • •4] Experimental and adjacent teeth required to be vital.
  • •5] Tooth mobility
  • •6] Patient willing for surgery and ready to give written consent.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Systemic illness known to affect the outcomes of periodontal therapy
  • •2] Patients using tobacco in any form.
  • •3] Teeth with endodontic (pulpal) involvement.
  • •4] Pregnant or lactating women.
  • •5] Patient on medication such as corticosteroids and calcium channel blockers.
