Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1] Both male and female chronic periodontitis patients in the age group of 30\-55 years with
- •acceptable oral hygiene.
- •2] Patients exhibiting probing pocket depth of \= 5mm.
- •3] Presence of intrabony defects \=3 mm based on radiographic observations.
- •4] Experimental and adjacent teeth required to be vital.
- •5] Tooth mobility
- •6] Patient willing for surgery and ready to give written consent.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Systemic illness known to affect the outcomes of periodontal therapy
- •2] Patients using tobacco in any form.
- •3] Teeth with endodontic (pulpal) involvement.
- •4] Pregnant or lactating women.
- •5] Patient on medication such as corticosteroids and calcium channel blockers.
