简要总结

This is an observational type of study assessing the association between types of Prakriti & vatarakta w.s.r to severity of vatarakta in specific Prakriti. This study will be conducted for a time period of one year in CBPACS with outcome of specifically designed diet & lifestyle, treatment protocols, and with the prevalence of vatarakta being studied in different Prakriti subjects preventive measures could also be taken.

入选标准

•Individuals aged
•50 years of either gender
•Individuals who consent in writing to participate in the study
•Individuals presenting with clinical features of vatarakta, irrespective of gender and socio-economic status
•Individuals presenting clinical features of gouty arthritis with hyperuricemia.

排除标准

•Mentally unstable individuals
•Individuals who have or have had a past history of a malignant tumor
•Pregnant and lactating women
•Individuals with autoimmune disorders of joints, infective and reactive arthritis
•Individuals with severe toxicity, ulceration, progressive gangrenous changes.

Assessing vatarakta & its severity in specific Prakriti using sign & symptoms mentioned in classical text & using ACR/EULAR criteria then assessing Prakriti by using validated prakriti proforma.

时间窗: 15 days

次要结局

Determining the role of diet & lifestyle in prevention of vatarakta in various prakriti & designing treatment protocols.(15-365 days)
