简要总结
Stress urinary incontinence is defined as involuntary urine leakage during activities that increase intraabdominal pressure. Hip muscles, particularly the Obturator Internus, contribute to continence through fascial connections with levator ani. PFMT is the first line treatment for SUI. Recent studies highlight the role of hip muscle performance, especially external rotators and abductors, which are often weak in SUI patients. The myofascial connection between the Obturator Internus and levator Ani creates a pivotal support region, acting as an anchoring point for pelvic organs and structures. SUI patient has weakness in hip abductors and external rotators. Strengthening synergistic muscles such as the Obturator Internus can indirectly enhance PFM activity.
