Inclusion Criteria
1)Age 1month-12 years
2)ASA physical status I and II
3)Elective surgeries under general anesthesia with endotracheal tube
Exclusion Criteria
1) h/o upper respiratory tract infections
2) h/o bronchial asthma
3) previous laryngeal or tracheal surgery
4) local anesthestic allergy
5) h/o congenital heart disease
6) patients with anticipated difficult airway
7) patients expected to require postoperative ventilation
