Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients older than 18 years
- •2\.Patients able to understand the concept of the study and awake intubation
- •3\.American Society of Anaesthesiologists(ASA) physical status I\-III
- •4\.Patients undergoing elective surgery requiring endotracheal intubation under GA
- •5\.Patients presented with laryngeal tumour requiring diagnostic or radical surgery
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients with mouth opening \<20 mm
- •2\.Patients presenting with an acute stridor where complete airway obstruction likely to be imminent
- •3\.Patients presenting with tongue or tracheal tumours
- •4\.Patients with increased risk of regurgitation and aspiration of gastric content
- •5\.Pregnancy
