Inclusion Criteria
FESS Surgeries for chronic rhinosinusitis, sinonasal polyposis
Patients under ASA 1 and 2
BMI between 18.5 to 24.99
Exclusion Criteria
Hypermagnesemia(on routine pre anaesthetic biochemical screening)
Patients with any degree of heart block, cardiovascular or renal disease, or a coagulation disorder

Name Time Method 1)Intra operative additional requirement of fentanyl <br/ ><br>2) Stress attenuation during laryngoscopy and endotracheal intubation <br/ ><br>3)time for extubation <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 1)Requirement of additional fentanyl 0.5mcg/kg if heart rate/systolic blood pressure increases more than 20%. <br/ ><br>2)heart rate and mean arterial pressure intraoperatively will be measured. <br/ ><br>3)17.Time taken from completion of surgical dressing to removal of endotracheal tube will be taken as time for extubation and is noted.
