- •All patients with hypertension above the age of 18 years based on the criteria described by Whelton et al., 2017\.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients less than 18 years of age
- •2\.Patients with secondary hypertension
- •3\.Failure to obtain informed consent from
- •the participant
- •4\.Pregnant females
- •5\.Patients with AIDS
- •6\.Patients with severe systemic illness
- •7\.Patients taking drugs like
- •corticosteroids, nonsteroidal anti\-
- •inflammatory agents, tricyclic
