Inclusion Criteria
Written informed consent; involved in caring/supervision of the individual with dementia (i.e., study participants undertake caring tasks like bathing or dressing, household tasks, and/or support in the care-related decision-making); living in Hamburg, Lower-Saxony and/or Schleswig-Holstein; appropiate German language skills; no cognitive impairments
Exclusion Criteria
The cared-for individual with dementia is not living at home (e.g., she/he is living in a nursing home)

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Themes and types based on the narratives of study participants regarding the reconciliation between informal caregiving in dementia, family, and employment. Here, study participants will be interviewed once (by using a narrative interview).
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method care-related strain (CarerQoL, ZBI), evaluation of life satisfaction (CarerQoL-VAS, EQ-5D), personality traits (NEO-FFI-30, ASKU), coping skills (PCI). These outcomes will be measured once after the interview (primary outcome) by using the named questionnaires (in brackets).
