Inclusion Criteria
mild to average chronic gingivitis with a mean gingival index of 1 to 2 millimeters without losing adherence and without periodontal pocket; lack of any systemic illness such as coronary and respiratory diseases, hemorrhagic problems, liver or kidney issues; no antibiotic consumption 3 months prior to the test; not being pregnant or breast-feeding; lack of physical or mental disablement with interfering effects on good oral hygiene; being a non-smoker; having not used mouthwash 3 months prior to the test; no drug consumption with interfering effects; lack of orthodontic appliances; non mouth breathers; absence of severe dental crowding
