Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients scheduled for elective dermatologic surgery for removal of skin cancer.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Current infection
  • Current antibiotic therapy
  • Antibiotic use in the last month
  • Failure to have intranasal swab to assess carriage of S. aureus prior to surgery
