Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •patients coming to Neurology OPD with symptoms \& signs of CTS of atleast 3 months with atleast one of the following electrophysiology features
  • •Median motor distal Latency \>4\.5 ms
  • •Difference in Median and Ulnar motor distal latency \>0\.5ms
  • •Median sensory latency \>3\.4ms
  • •Difference in Median and Ulnar sensory peak Latency \>0\.5ms

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Severe CTS with thenar atrophy
  • •18 years of age
  • •Not willing to participate/give consent
  • •Contraindications for corticosteroid injections (eg: skin infection at site)
  • •Traumatic/Neoplastic origin of symptoms
