1.Patients with age group between 16 and 60 years will be included.
2.Patient suffering from Mukhapaka will be included in study.
3.Patients of both sex will be included.
1.As per Bhavprakash patients contraindicated for Gandusha will be excluded.
2.Gandusha is contraindicated in unconscious patient, poisoned, weak, marasmic person, person suffering from bleeding disorder and conjunctivitis.
3.Patient having chronic or carcinogenic ulcers in oral cavity will be excluded.
4.Mukhapaka due to any other systemic disorder e.g. Syphilis, AIDS, etc will be excluded.

Name Time Method Yashtimadhu Lepana possesses the property of Shamana and Ropana Karma.Yashtimadhu provides Shamana of Pitta and Rakta Dosha. Yashtimadhu improves oral hygiene and reduces clinical symptoms of Mukhapaka.Timepoint: Baseline, 2nd, 5th & 7th day. and Post up follow up on 9th day.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Yashtimadhu Ghrita along with Gandusha may reduce the subjective parameters and objective parameters in Mukhapaka. These can provide a safer, cost effective alternative to the present conventional treatment, which can be useful in a country like India.Timepoint: Baseline, 2nd, 5th & 7th day. and Post up follow up on 9th day.
