Brief Summary
This is an Randomised open controlled clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy of the Shadanga Guggul in Janusandhigata vata w s r to Osteoarthritis.
The assesment of signs and symptoms will be done at regular follow ups.
Observation will be drawn from the outcomes achieved in 90 days .

Inclusion Criteria
- •Signs and symptoms of shoola Shotha akunchan prasaran samayi graha in unilateral or bilateral janu sandhigatavata.
- •Pain in affected joints more than 4 weeks Willing to participate in the study.
Exclusion Criteria
- •History of any surgical diagnostic intervention with reference to the affected joints Janu Sandhigata aaghata (Trauma) Patient who are incapacitated bedridden or confined to wheelchair Patient with known case of gouty arthritis rheumatoid arthritis psoriatic arthritis malignancy Patients having any deformity of knee hip or back Patients on prolonged medication with corticosteroids anti depressant anticholinergics or any other drugs that may have an influence on outcome of study Alcoholics or drug abusers Pregnant or lactating women Patient who have completed participation in any other clinical trial during the past 6 months.

To Study the efficacy of Shadanga guggul in Janu Sandhigata vata w s r to Osteoarthritis of knee joint assessing subjective parameters such as shoola Shotha akunchan prasaran samayi vedana

- To study Janusandhigata vata in detail from various ayurvedic texts(To study efficacy of shadanga guggul in signs of shoola shotha atopa akunchan prasaran janya Vedana in janu sandhigat vata)
