Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients (\>18 years old) with neurological physical symptoms unexplained by disease. The following clusters of symptoms will be included:
- •\* Tension type headache
- •\* Back and neck pain
- •\* Pseudo movement disorders
- •\* Mainly sensory disturbances
- •\* Mainly motor disturbances
- •\* Pseudo\-epilepsy
Exclusion Criteria
- •\* Duration of symptoms more than one year
- •\* Patients known prior to assessment to have psychiatric disorders other than somatoform, depressive, or anxiety disorders
- •\* Patients with a primary diagnosis of a severe mood, anxiety, or psychotic disorders requiring psychiatric treatment
- •\* Patients who are in dispute about financial or social benefit
- •\* Patients suffering from a major somatic disease, incl neurological disease
