Inclusion Criteria

Blepharitis disease
Age greater than or equal to 18 years
OSDI test score greater than or equal to 22
Eyelid margin disease without severe inflammation
SM tube test greater than or equal to 3 mm

Exclusion Criteria

Use topical eye treatments now or less than a month ago
Receiving systemic treatments for eyelid diseases at the time of referral or one month before the visit
Receiving any systemic treatment now or during the past month that affects tear secretion
Use of contact lenses
History of ocular burns or trauma
Recent ocular surgery (less than 3 months ago)
Anterior segment active disease
Patients with acquired human immunodeficiency virus
Patients with graft-versus-host disease
Patients with rheumatic diseases, renal disease and sarcoidosis
Diabetes
Pregnancy and lactation
Any dermatological or systemic disease that affects ocular surface
Known drug allergies to Esmed kohl
