Inclusion Criteria
1. Minimum of 10 natural teeth present with at least two teeth with probing depth of 5- 6mm in chronic Periodontitis patients.
2. Clinical attachment loss of 1-2mm irrespective of age and gender.
3. Apparently healthy
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patients who are under medication
2. Smokers
3. Pregnancy and lactating mother
4. Patients who received periodontal treatment in last 6 months
5. Patients who are unable to perform routine oral hygiene procedure

Name Time Method To assess and compare the clinical parameters in chronic periodontitis patients in both groups <br/ ><br>2. To identify putative periodontal pathogens like Porphyromonas gingivalis, Treponema denticola, and Tannerella forsythia in Subgingival microbiologic samples in both groups.Timepoint: At two weeks interval for 3 months
