1.Intra-capsular (IC) fracture neck of femur (NOF) treated by:
a)Closed reduction and internal fixation (CRIF) with Cannulated cancellous screws (CCS).
b)Open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) with (CCS).
c)Valgus osteotomy with double angled barrel plate.
2.Intertrochanteric (IT) fracture treated with:
a) Dynamic hip screw (DHS).
b) Proximal femoral nail(PFN).
1.Pathological fractures
2.Platelet count less than 1.3 lakhs.
3.Patient on any medication altering the platelet count or the function.
4.Pregnant or Lactating ladies
5.Immunocompromised patient.
6.Any systemic infection to impair normal healing.
7.Metabolic bone disease.
8.Patients of unsound mind or undergoing psychiatric treatment
