Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Age greater than 65 years
- •ASA physical status 1, 2, 3
- •Patients undergoing elective supratentorial craniotomies
- •Procedures lasting a minimum of 2 hours
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients with GCS \<15 prior to the surgery
- •Patients with BMI \> 30
- •Patients with CT evidence of increased intra cranial pressure
- •Intracranial aneurysm or Arteriovenous malformations
- •Patients with history of psychiatric illness and/or receiving neuropsychiatric drugs
- •Patients with history of alcohol or substance abuse
- •Patients undergoing re do procedures
