Inclusion Criteria

inclusion criteria:
The singletone pregnant women with gestational age of less than 18 weeks, with no history of smoking or usage of glucocorticoid and sympathomymetic drugs, with no history of disease causing polycytemia such as asthma or chronic hypertension, no history of gestational diabetes, preeclapsia or overt diabetes in previous pregnancy, with normal hemoglubin (Hb)11-13.8g/dl and ferritin 10-300 ng/ml.
exclusion criteria:
In women under study if hemoglubin less than 10.5mg/dl in second trimester and less than 11 mg/dl in third trimester is detected, they will get out of study

Side effects of ferrous sulfate such as nausea and vomiting,constipation,metal oral taste. Timepoint: from the prescriping of ferrous sulfate(20 weeks of gestational age till delivery). Method of measurement: measuring the hemoglubin (mg/dl) and serum ferritin (ng/ml) by blood sampling.
